Reservations + Catering

Nueces Brewing Co. offers catering and large orders for all of your events! Whether it be a graduation party, office gathering, or anything in between, let us provide the BBQ that will WOW your guests. Our meats are smoked daily on our famous pit, Fat Albert. The briskets cook for 16 hours and we use a mixture of post oak and mesquite. It’s taken about 30 years to perfect the combination and when you taste it, you’ll understand.

You can choose to party in our taproom, pickup your order to-go, or take advantage of our full-service catering package. Not sure how much food to order? Contact us and we’ll walk you through it.

We’re literally sitting in front of a computer waiting for your inquiry. (Okay, maybe not literally).

We offer table reservations for groups of 30 or less free of charge, with the exception of certain dates. These reservations are limited. Please keep in mind that if you don’t pre-order we cannot guarantee we won’t run out of anything. Just like any good BBQ joint, when it’s gone, it’s gone. If you do pre-order we guarantee we’ll have your food.

How much will it cost per person?

Approximate, excluding taxes and gratuities:

  • $10 – $15 / person = assorted appetizers (minimum order required for some items; see below)
  • $15 – $20 / person = sandwich + side or shareable items.
  • $25 – $30 / person = 2-3 meats + 2 sides of your choice

**We suggest 1 meat for light eaters, 2 meats for average eaters, and 3 meats for grown ass, hungry men.

What are my menu options?

For meat and side options, have a look at our “BBQ Menu tab for food offerings. Some items are seasonal. Our menu on the website is what’s currently available. **We guarantee our menu for up to three months prior to your event.

For our appetizer bar, we offer a variety of these options:

  • Chips & queso

  • Chips & salsa

  • Pretzel bites & queso

  • Pulled pork sliders (minimum order of 36)

  • Chopped beef sliders (minimum order of 36)

  • Street taco bar: brisket, pulled pork, chicken (minimum order of 36 per meat option)

  • SuperCorn (sweet corn, butter, mayo, tajin, pico, queso fresco, cilantro)

How much food does that get?

We accommodate all group orders in bulk, served buffet style. Each portion of meat is approximately 4 oz. We can customize any order to your liking or needs!

Sides: We recommend 2 varieties of sides. Each portion of sides is about 6 oz. This equates to 12 oz of sides per person.

What does my order include?

All of our packages come with:

  • buffet style service
  • serving utensils
  • plates, plasticware + napkins
  • fix-ins: pickles, onions, jalapeños, bread and sauce

What am I allowed to bring in?

We welcome:

  • A celebratory dessert.

  • Decorative items such as tablecloths, small balloon arrangements, flowers, etc.

  • Gifts for your celebration

We DO NOT allow:

  • Any other outside food or beverages

  • Glitter or confetti

  • Outside music or DJs unless you book the entire facility

  • Wall decor/hangings (our walls are covered in local artists’ work)

Is there a fee to make a reservation in the taproom?

No. We do not charge to reserve tables; however, depending on the size of your party, date and time of your reservation, we may require the preorder of food and payment in full in order to guarantee food and confirm your reservation.

Is there a maximum number of tables I can reserve?

Yes. Generally we ask for parties no larger than 100 guests (10 tables), but can be flexible depending on day and time of the event.

Can I reserve the whole taproom for a private party?

Yes! Pricing to reserve the whole dang building for a private party starts at $6,000 plus a minimum bar/food tab. We can also make accommodations for hard liquor to be served for private events (we bring in a legal liquor caterer).

How do I make reservations for my party in the taproom?

Fill out the questionnaire below with as many details as possible and our Events Coordinator will reply within 24 hours of your inquiry.
